So? How are you new years resolutions going? Have you stopped smoking and lost 10 kilograms? Probably not. Because new years resolutions just don't stick. And now don't punish yourself for the rest of the year.
Take smaller steps. Try to give up one thing today to make space for something new in your life.
I will give you an example what I did last year. Since the first of January 2019 I haven't touched video games. Why? Because I wasted tons of time playing online first person shooters.
I needed more space in my life to work on myself. And what could I let go easier than that. It was a waste of time and robbed me so many hours. Don't get me wrong, it's fine if you are playing video games, but I just was a little bit too addicted to it. So it had to go.
If you want change in your life, you have to change your circumstances. Give something up for 30 days and replace it with something else.
Ideas that I can give you: Stop gaming. Start reading 10 pages in a book each day. Stop watching TV. Write for 10 minutes every day Stop complaining. Start trying to give a compliment every day. Stop eating meat for 30 days and replace it with something organic.
