Yeah, e-commerce. Well as a tech guy it's quite a common field to work in.
Today I was at a conference about e-commerce and payment and they also had a influencer speaking there. I tried to watch her talk withouth any bias. I tried so hard...
She had some good points, like the companies should of course stop with green-washing their products and take real responsibility. But come on, stop telling me your customers are between 18 - 24 years old.
Basically it was a talk on selling at the youngest people. How to target the 10 - 18 year old kids.
That's something marketers have discovered years ago. Why try to sell toys to the parents when the kids are watching television for hours every day. It's way easier to generate annoying kids that will go on their parents nerves instead of trying to convince the parents.
For a minimalist this was really hard to watch...
